We defend civil society initiatives in court and advocate politically for a legal framework that enables civil society engagement. Politically motivated attacks on non-profit status, the criminalization of activists, and the discrediting of democratic engagement threaten their work. Committed individuals and associations fill our democracy with life. To do so, they need robust scope for action and stable funding.
