Prof. Dr. Dana-Sophia Valentiner is a member of the GFF board and Junior Professor of Public Law at the University of Rostock. She studied law and gender competence at the University of Hamburg, where she received her doctorate with an award-winning thesis on the fundamental right to sexual self-determination. She researches and teaches on constitutional and administrative law, in particular on fundamental rights, legal gender studies and the law of socio-ecological transformation. In her voluntary work, she campaigns for gender equality and the promotion of democracy, particularly in the German Women Lawyers Association. Together with Selma Gather, she hosts the podcast "Justitia's daughters - the podcast for feminist legal policy".
