Jannik Jaschinski
Lawyer and case coordinator
Jannik Jaschinski is a lawyer and case coordinator in our work area "Strong Fundamental Rights for a Vibrant Democracy". In particular, he works on the Gegenrechtsschutz project. Previously, he was a research assistant in the Thuringia project of the Verfassungsblog, researching authoritarian-populist strategies for taking over democratic institutions. He also delivers resilience workshops for the judiciary and administration. He studied law and economics in Heidelberg, Paris, and Santiago de Chile and completed his legal clerkship in Berlin at the European Commission's Rule of Law Unit and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs, among others.
