Valentina Chiofalo

Valentina Chiofalo is a fully qualified lawyer working on the AfD expert opinion project. She studied law in Berlin, completed her legal training there, and is a doctoral candidate at the Free University of Berlin. Her research focuses on comparative constitutional law, specifically whether identity politics considerations can be found in German, US, and European constitutional law. In addition, her areas of focus include anti-discrimination law and reproductive rights, particularly in the area of abortion. She is also chair of the European and International Law Commission of the German Women Lawyers Association (djb).
